Hello, my name is Paul, and I live in the suburbs of Philadelphia. I grew up in this area, and then moved down to Washington, D.C. for university.
I majored in Economics, which I enjoyed, but I never really thought that business was the field for me. While working my first job at a software company, I became acquainted with the Engineering team, and they recommended that I give Computer Science a try.
With that feeling, I enrolled in a few Computer Science courses online, and, within a matter of months, I was able to land my first Software Engineer position in Northern Virginia, just outside of Washington, DC. I performed mostly front-end work, using JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.
Ever since that role, my professional experience has been mostly as a Computer Science Instructor. Currently, I teach at multiple universities, including St. Joseph's University, with a fervor for the discipline. In fact, I have such a passion for this work that I feel my students get both an enjoyable and rewarding experience each time that we collaborate on a project.
Some of the courses I have taught include: Web Application Development (graduate-level), Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Computer Architecture, as well as several introductory courses in JavaScript, Python, Java, C++, and the like.
Although my strengths mostly lie in front-end development, I possess the skills to work on full-stack web application projects. As you peruse my portfolio, I just want to thank you for visiting. Please feel free to get in touch via any of the options listed at the bottom of this page. Happy Coding!
